Check out the  Rotary Ice Melt historical data below and formulate your best guess as to when the ice will melt on Lake Dillon for a chance to win $4,000!
AND BUY AN ICE MELT TICKET HERE!
The Lake Dillon Ice Melt is one of Summit Rotary’s flagship fundraisers. For the uninitiated, here’s how it works: every year we haul a giant drum out to the middle of Lake Dillon. Attached to said drum are watches. When the ice gives way, the clocks go under water and stop working. Locals, visitors, and other astute guessers (such as yourself!) use a mixture of past drop-times, skill, and luck to predict the exact time the clock will drop.

  • The grand prize winner gets $4,000 and priceless bragging rights.
  • Second place gets $2000 and slightly-less-priceless bragging rights.
  • Third place gets a cool $1000.

The proceeds of the Ice Melt Contest support the Rotary Club of Summit County’s numerous national and international projects. Please look through the rest of this website for details on these projects.

For updates on the clock’s status, please check

We thank you for supporting The Rotary Club of Summit County and doing your part to help us help the community - Make Good Things Happen!!
