The Lake Dillon Ice Melt is one of Summit Rotary's most thrilling fundraisers. If you're new to the scene, here's the scoop: Picture a massive drum perched on Lake Dillon. Attached to this drum are watches, eagerly awaiting the moment the ice gives way. When that happens, these timepieces dive into the icy depths, stopping at the exact moment they hit the water. That's where you come in! Whether you're a local, a visitor or just a sharp guesser (yes, that's you!), it's time to use a mix of past drop times, your gut instincts (no complex math required!) and a sprinkle of luck to predict when that clock will plunge.
The grand prize? A whopping $4,000 and the ultimate bragging rights, of course. Second place snags $2,000 and slightly less braggable rights, while third place walks away with a cool $1,000.

Our club hosts Rotary Exchange students from our district each year to the ski weekend for fellowship and fun. Exchange students learn valuable life lessons during their school-year stay in our country, becoming life-long advocates.
